We are kept in check through "fear" of terrorist attacks. The Patriot Act more or less completely side steps our rights as set forth in the constitution, and some Christians seek to impose their "Law" over us. I don't know, maybe I am missing something.

Yes Bush is the pot calling the kettle black. And he doesn't care so long as it promotes his own agenda - but then unfortunately for the American people a good number of politicians are like that.

Bush was not entirely truthful for why he went into Iraq and then later on admitted that. That makes him no better than any other leader justifying what they do for their own beliefs.

Yes it is offensive he is using our spiritualism to further hate and antisocial attitudes. In two years he will leave the Presidency and whomever gets it - be they Republican, Democrat or Independent - will have a huge mess to clean up and repair.

try naming three other countries that have more freedom that the United States. now for your definition a dictator does not have a senate and house of representatives with the power to check any and all decisions that he makes. it is awfully easy to set on your couch and criticize the government, the Christians, and the people who disagree with your, own small beliefs. get off the couch get a job and start becoming a asset to your country, better yet go into politics and make a real difference.

You're right you can't fight fascism with fascism. Bush presents everything in black and white because that is as deep as he goes. I choose neither side. Anyone that commits or supports violence against their fellow man just because they think that is characteristic of some group they are supposed to be in is an idiot. I'm not an idiot. I'll have no part of it. Let's not have out minds controlled. That is how you fight fascism.

What nonesense! Read the definition you provided again, and if you fail to understand, read over and over until you get it (remember: practice makes perfect!).

Your comparison is absurd. America is one of the most free countries in the world, probably too free. To call the U.S. government a dictatorship truly shows either the ignorance or the stupidity of your thinking.

I would, at the very least, develop a question and argument that even has a chance of being plausible.

Yours does not.

Unfortunately for the modern world, the Muslims have been conditioned by their dictatorial regimes to have one thought, the same as the regime. There is no spectrum of opinions in the Muslim world, there is no freedom of expression, freedom of thought, freedom to live life freely (exception is in Turkey).

Do you know of any instance (even throughout history) of Muslims demonstrating against the war (I don't mean demonstrated against Israel, the U.S., the West, or the like....I mean demonstrating against the Islamic terrorism, against waging war against Israel)? There is no freedom of speech, there is no spectrum of opinion in the Muslim world. If you think differently, you are jailed or killed.

I am sick and tired of hearing from Muslim community leaders that Islam is such a "peaceful" religion(!). Well, thank Allah Islam is a "peaceful" religion. Can you imagine if it weren't??!

It's time for Muslims to take accountability for their religion and culture. Stop spinning, and address the fact that the Muslim culture is one of the most oppressive and violent cultures, against its own people, and certainly against other cultures.

For those who believe that the extremist element in Islam is small, the numbers are staggering. There are 1.2 billion Muslims in this world. Lets take a very liberal view that only a very small percentage of Muslims are exterme, while the rest of the Muslim world is very peaceful. So if only 10% of Muslims have extreme point of views, and may be a threat, and must be dealt with, meaning dealing with 120 million Muslims! How about 1%? Then you must deal with 12 million Muslims. How about 1/10 of a percent? Then you must deal with 1.2 million Muslims. The numbers are staggering! How do you propose dealing with even the "very low" figures of 1.2 million Muslim extremists?

It would be to the benefit of the World to rid of Hezbollah, Hamas, the Syrian, Iranian regime, and any other Islamofascist groups. It must be done to finally have a chance for peace in the region and the rest of the world.

The evil of religion should be fought against at any opportunity. All religious people are part of the same lunacy that inspires terrorism, no matter what their chosen sky daddy is called.

There are no Christian fascists that I'm aware of.The fascists that our president is talking about advocate wiping a nation off the face of the earth, support suicide bombers and apparently want to take over the world.

Would a dictatorship ALLOW you to spout your anti-govenrment opinions?

If you wanted to break the Patriot Act, how would you do it? It basically applies to government agencies- allowing the sharing of information- and doesn't prevent people from doing anything.

I don't know, so many people are becoming fascist supporters. They don't realize that what they think is going to keep them safe is actually going to take their rights away.
