Turn yourself in.

Here's the dilemma. You committed a Felony. Fleeing an accident scene is a Felony. If anyone got your license plate number, they will be contacting you soon enough. If not, then the right thing to do is to call the police and explain what happened.

Seeing as this is two days old now, I hope you were mature enough to try and help the person you ran over, whether you called the police or went back to the accident site to help/get them help. If not, stay out of California, I don't want anymore bad drivers here, there's too many already.

Probably the best thing would be to present yourself to the police at the station, or if that isn't feasible, call them to come and get you--because they will anyway. The less police resources and force you make them use, the more likely they are to believe that you are truly penitent. If they have to go on a 2 state chase and box your car in to get you into custody, they won't be as understanding. But get a lawyer before you talk to anyone, as that is your right under Miranda laws.

P.S. I think 911 is the fastest way--gets the victim seen to AND you picked up at the same time.

If you really ran someone over and left the scene you should call the police.

Running over someone and leaving the scene is known as a hit-and-run.Got to the police and admit what you did befor they have to arrest you for murder.PS:Your being scared doesn't excuse the fact that you hit someone and fled afterwards.

Ask yourself this, how would you feel if your family member or loved one were run over or hit by a car which fled the scene?
I think you have your answer.
If it was truely an accident, it will be proven....don't make matters worse on yourself.

I love watching all these people get into such a hissy fit. BTW, cool website. The only question I have is, did you really make a movie, or is it all a gag. If you really made a movie, it sounds like it would be hilarious.

You could turn yourself in since you posted your pic here or you could go into hiding for ever in some foreign country but eventually you will get caught, they always do and face the consequences then.

Dude, If you would have really hit someone over, you wouldn't be sitting asking a naive question like this on Yahoo! Answers.
