1. Christians will be insulted by anything that's true about their belief. So why even try not to insult them. The truth is more important than them getting upset

2. Theists have been lying about Atheists, insulting Atheists longer and more often than us Atheists could ever down play them.

3. Positive change can be painful. If their feeling are hurt because someone told the blunt truth, it can only lead to critical thinking.

4. Pretending their belief is not stupid is only deceiving them. That would make us just as bad as the crooked pastors

5. Sugar coating the truth only bends the truth. IF you bend the truth, it's not completely the truth

Atheism is a social club for rejects and athletic quitters. You,as a black atheist, will never be accepted because regardless whether you are religious or not by the white Christians and the white atheists. White Atheists use Darwinism as a moral bases for racism just like white so-called Christians use it also for instance the KKK. Afro-Americans are seem as lower than humans. Charles Darwin was a racist because He showed a chart of white man and a black man separate from each. He showed a chart saying that Afro-Americans evolved from a monkey and the white male was shown evolving from something else. Christianity is a white man's religion forced upon Africans and African Americans. Christianity is nothing but a label to hide white man's faults and flaws but God despises religion made by man. Atheism is not a religion but a non believing cult that uses evolution, a fairy tale,as a emotional crutch used by whites. God not only rejects unbelievers but He is unmerciful to those who continue in sin like atheists. Don't get caught up in the false Hype of this descending movement. Atheists will always be a minority their beliefs will never be accepted because of their racist propaganda.
God will accept you but not with religion or man made false theories. God loves you!
Praying 4 you!

I agree with your premise -- the truth must be told, especially to those who don't wish to hear it. And I've also opined (more than once) that if idiots can't be mocked then they're of no use whatsoever.

Having said that, I also think that a little tact can go a long way.

Surely you've observed that blunt talk gets mixed reactions. It's probably true that the corrupt pastors you mention will not stop lying (except when they get arrested). As for the followers: some will be genuinely hurt by the truth, some will be infuriated, a very few may actually change their thinking.

All things considered, I think that calm, rational argument is the only way to go. Tell the truth and tell it often, but there's no need to be rude about it.

Well if they are not bugging you then leave the Christian alone. Also the flaw in point#3 is that christians are taught not to think about their faith..only accept it.

As for #4 and 5..no one knows what is true so we are all equally stupid and deceiving ourselves. For sugar coating...truth doesn't need to be bent but it also doesn't have to be a crowbar...just place it b4 them and then whatever happens will be.

Hey BigPappa interesting thought but since 99% of the time theists don't even have a partial truth to pass of as fact so use lies or myths maybe should not be throwing stones huh?

I disagree. I think a religion is an important thing for a person to have. Everyone does stuff for the physical and mental health, but very few people actually stop to think about their sprititual health. Most atheists would say there's no such thing as spiritual health, but I know people with religion and I know people without. I been in both boats at some time or another, and I've decided that it's better to have something flawed to hold onto than nothing at all.

I have found that atheism is just another belief system. The atheists I have encountered took atheism for their religion. They proselytize, and engage in other behaviors they thump theists for. That is exactly what you are doing in asking this question. You are doing exactly what you accuse Christians of doing. And here is a newsflash: last time I checked, I lived in a country where all are guaranteed by the Constitution the right to beliefs others believe to be stupid. So you are not compelled to set anyone straight. Just live and let live.

BIBLE: KJV according to sourses:
What does God call them? Preach love to them? Lets see what God says, to do with them.

You have unbeliever's, Chaff, Scoffers.

An Atheist is a "scoffer". The WORD of God, clearly tells, ATHEISTS are filhty rags they are, and to stay away from them, and avoid them. We are NOT to plant seeds. God knows it is useless and that is why he tells us, "You stand firm against them" ( Jer.17:8 14:1 Iah 44:4) You disassociate them completely. Any Believer that does not abide in God's own Word, does not know God, according to God Himself.
Atheists are "chaff" A simile of the wretchedness of the wicked. Chaff is carried away by the lightest wind, and it's removal brings about cleansing by extracting what is utterly useless. (Ruth 1:22). They will NOT stand in the judgment. They will NOT be able to withstand God's wrath when He judges.( Pslams 76:7 Exra 9:15). This is not my opinion, this is God's very own Words, in the Bible. You know, the BIble? The same Bible atheist scholars quote. There is a reason God, said this. Psalms.1.1-3 Jer. 17:8 14:1 12. 1-2 18:9-10 Prov1.10-19 (vs 5) scoffers:(atheists) those who ridicule God and definatley reject His Law. Prov 1.:22 Ruth 1:22 Jer 18:7 (pull down-destroy) 1:10 (evil-calamity) 18:11

Pslams 1:
godly wisdom here, declare the final outcome of the two "ways". The paths of "sinners" (unbelievers) and the "way of the righteous. he speaks progressively of assoociation with the ungodly and participation in they're ungodly ways.

God said it. End of Story. Jesus Himself said "Let the dead bury they're dead".

Use all the Internet and Dictionaries they want to and call themselves anything they wish. God "defined" what they are by His own Holy Word.

They can hang a dog tag* around they're neck in the pits if hell itself and separate each other by name categorically.

God's Word said it. By God's definition. They are nothing but filthy rags. There is NO opinion.

Hate? Where do you get hate? If God's TRUTH is hate too you, then, so be it. You and God, can and will discuss the means of your scriptural interpretation, consisting with a man-made defacto on a motion of plea bargin I guess. I dunno.

I'm Catholic. I don't necessarily think being blunt is the best thing to do, but unfortunately it is my personality too.

I think many times 1 and 2 go together. Atheists use a partial truth and pass it off as fact...

By and large I disagree. Because of point two. We are obliged, as believers of this world (and not the next) to take a road morally higher than theirs. They persecute us. We have to lead by example. We have to believe that our truth will win in the end, and when the virus of theism has been completely eradicated, our truth will still survive.

Making the odd joke is fine, but we have to do what they never did to us and tolerate their beliefs.

And attack like a wolf whenever any of them want to bring their hocus-pocus into a classroom.

i would never put anyone's beliefs down as long as they aren't harming others.

i am an atheist. i believe in a little thing called pluralism. i wouldn't like to live a miserable vengeful life just to "get back" at someone. it is a waste of time and i suggest you'd drop it. there is no excuse for meanness.

I dont believe in putting anyones beliefs down.

Whether I agree with them or not - it makes no difference to me

Religion is a very personal choice and no one should be made to feel bad about their choice in faith.

I would never put someone down for believe in god, just like I wouldnt want someone to put me down for not believe in god.

It comes down to respect and privacy.

Everyone has their own reality and their own truth, just live your own life well!
