You can rename any file by rightclicking on the file name and clicking on rename, then typing in the new name.

You can also do it in Picasa, as indicated,
http://picasa.google.com/index.html

As for batch-renaming, I imagine it can be done, but I haven't tried it myself. Go to http://www.downloads.com or http://www.nonags.com and look for programs that will do that if that is what you need. Good Luck.

What do you mean? You can change the name of anything.
