open up limewire. choose tools on the main toolbar. Click options. Look through some of those and soon enough ull see something that says log in on windows startup. There will be a box next to it checked off. Remove the check.

If you are on limewire it's best to get off. They try to control your computer and install such things as adware on it. Also if you download music on there you could wake up day having to pay thousands if it is illegal, and their non -preimium is ilegal.
I know of one person who had several hundred songs on there she claims to have paid a subscription for to download legal. When she had to cancel due to their interference with her computer they also deleted her paid for music files. You can put them in documents (whicch is where they belong) and use a desk top short cut to reach them. Delete them and re-install and set them for demand only. I do not have any music companies but i think you can do it in your limewire set up. If not got to settings under start, click again on folder options, click on folder based sititng options you choose, than settings, than settings, than scroll down to only for folders I select as web page, select lime wire to go in this folder to only be opened as you want it. But they might also open into your computer anyway. you should go into cookies and set them to a high level so they can only open if you wish them to.

Run MSCONFIG (start, Run....) and goto the STARTUP tab. It is probably there. If not, download a copy of HijackThis! and delete anything that mentions Limewire.
