we are going on a date and everything, shes really friendly and she would use phrases like "hunnie" "sweet" "youre so cute"...all that stuff but in a friendly way all the time, so i wouldnt really know. but she must show some signs that she honestly is interested or just playing around.

if she's just using the word and not doing anything good for you , you can say she's leading on you. but she might be very shy to do something, she might be shy to get initmate to you. i donnow what to do with these ppl but the moon wont be behind clouds long time.

One great way to find out, other than just asking, is to all of a sudden look as if you're losing interest in her. Don't be so readily available. Miss a call or two. Don't call her too often. If she's interested in you she'll make a move in your direction. If she's not into you, she'll drift away. Patience and time are your friends in this situation and if you can do it, you'll have your answer. Although, like I said, asking is always the best way to go. Using tact and the right words, you can find your answer.

It sounds like she's not sure...but then I guess you must be picking up on that to ask too aren't you?
At any rate it sounds like she is keeping you at arms length for some reason. Often girls like that aren't sure what they want and therefore aren't ready for a relationship.
If you're happy to keep things at a friendship/dating level and not too serious it will probably work out ok. But if you want to push for more, I'm not sure that you won't be disappointed.
