For me it's the thrill of the hunt. The whole dating scene for me is the same as if I'm in the deer woods. If I choose a 12 point buck the meat would be tougher but it would be mounted, for show and tell. But If I was to choose a softer more tender doe. She would be used to give me life. And more enjoyable to eat.

Hunting metaphors get the point across, just don't take them too literally! Okay, that being said, I would vote the "thrill of the capture", because I don't hunt arbitrarily, so I don't capture more than I need to survive. Since I only need one, I can wait for the right one, and the right time. I'll eat my catch, too, but I have no need for trophies.
