You know, they can last pretty long if stored properly in pickling juice, but the longer they sit, the harder they get and I despise a hard pickled egg...serve me a nice "just cooked to being done" with some good pickling spices, tangy vinegar/lemon juice, and garlic....hmmmmm....no more then a few days old....yummmm

Oh those things are so gross. My brother makes them but they don't last very long at his house because he EATS them. Gross. He usually heats up the pickling stuff again and adds more eggs. Gross. The pickling stuff really starts to look nasty after a while. OH SO GROSS!
