Speaking from experience here, cramps come with the miscarriage. If they do get out of hand though call the doctor. They should never be more painful than menstrual cramps.

My ob doctor gave me tylonel with codine(i don't know how to spell it) when I had my misscarriage. The pain was not fun and it to felt like contractions. Call your ob doctor and talk to them about the pain. Mine also made me go in and have a ultra sound to make sure everything was gone because I was in so much pain. Anyways if you resume having sex here shortly remember after a misscarriage you are very fertile. I got pregnant with the second 2 months after mine. (I had a hard time believing I was going to stay pregnant again) Anyways I am sorry for your loss:( and all the best of luck to you :)

Go to the hospital...that's what it's there for.
Speaking from experience you should be checked out anyway to make sure that there is no infection.
As for waiting for the bleeding to get to a worrying level...sounds to me like you're worrying so by their own definition you should go in.
So sorry for your loss...

I am so sorry for your loss. I think that it could be your uterus reacting to the loss, but the way I see it is, you are already suffering enough, call your Dr and ask for some help with the pain. He may need to check you out also, because if you haven't had a DNC you might need one...I hate to tell you this, but it is a possibility. Keep your head high!

Very sorry for your loss. I have experienced this also. Your uterus is contracting to it's normal size. It may take up to two days, depending on how far along you were.Give your body (and your mind) time to heal. If it lasts longer than 36 hours, or you experience any other problems, call your doctor.

I'm not trying to be crude, but whenever you have your period you are technically having a miscarriage since an egg has imbedded itself.
Sounds like you should take some medication and maybe try to walk around a bit to try and help your body pass it.
