If food is 'caked' onto the inside of a microwave, pop some lemon jiuce into some water and put it in to boil for a few minutes. It will lossen any hard food left on the microwave. If You havent got lemon juice, just use water.....the lemon jiuce just makes it smell nice.

I think you'll find that if you put a cup of cold water with a few drops of lemon juice in it in the oven and bring it to the boil and leave it there for a couple of minutes, the acidic steam thus produced will soften any muck inside the oven and allow its easy removal with the use of a damp cloth with a drop or two of washing up liquid. For obvious reasons don't use anything rough or caustic as a cleaning agent as these could damage the interior.

I put water in a microwavable dish and boil it in the micro. Then wipe around with a damp cloth. The steams loosens the greese. Try squeezing a few drops of lemon juice into the bowl. Nice fresh smell.

Slice lemons and put them in a bowl (microwaveable) of hot/warm water. Place the bowl in the oven and heat it up for a minute.

If your microwave oven has those stubborn crusts, it'd be easier now that the steam and lemon has worked its thing to soften those dirty crusts.

Use a soft sponge and wipe the surfaces inside.

How to Clean a Microwave

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Microwaves make short work of cooking; now you can make short work of cleaning them.

Cleaning the Interior

Steps:
1. Wipe away crumbs and stains from the inside of the microwave using a damp paper towel.

2. Remove remaining food and stains by gently scraping them away with a dull blade or a fingernail.

3. Spray with an all-purpose cleaner.

4. Wipe away cleaner with paper towels.

5. Repeat, if necessary.

6. Wipe dry with a clean paper towel.

Cleaning the Exterior

Steps:
1. Spray the exterior of the microwave with all-purpose cleaner.

2. Wipe away cleaner with a paper towel.

3. Spray the exterior window with glass cleaner.

4. Wipe dry with a paper towel.

Put water in microwave safe dish (about half full) and run micro for about 1 - 2 min. on high and the water will create humidity in micro and just wipe clean. all things bad will be unstuck.
