I have hurt it a few times playing sport but I don't think that I have ever had a serious wrist injury

It's called crepitus, when air or gas pops or causes a small bone to rub against another. It is a common thing and unless you have alot of pain during it, it won't be necessary for you to see a doctor....there is more information on crepitus on the internet that you can trust....

Your ligament is stretched. You have to take care of this right away otherwise it will lead to arthritis in later years. And, it is no picnic - let me tell you.

Your bone joints will experience additional stress - especially if you want to continue the sports - if this ligament problem is not taken care of.

I am not scaring you but telling you like it is. Talk to a doc - this should be your priority.

Sometimes! No, not a bad sign - it's just the joints moving around. Actually, everyone's does - some just make the annoying noise! lol

My wrist has been doing this for years, since I can remember way back when. It does not do it all the time though. Mostly when I am crocheting.

No it doesn't. But my right ankle does... Almost every time I bend my ankle back, it cracks. It's kind of sore sometimes too... hmm... maybe we should both get that checked out by a doctor.
