1.25 ounces of Patron (I would recommend the silver, but it depends on your tequila preference)
.5 ounces of Grangala
.5 ounces of Grand Marnier
2 ounces of margarita mix (Margarita mix is preferable to using sour mix and lime mix because the perfect the recipe. A wide variety of margarita mixes exist, and again, it would be your preference in deciding which to use.)
Salt the rim of the glass. Serve with a lime and orange garnish over cubed ice.

i'm no longer a reliable tequila drinker yet the following is a reliable margarita that's said as an Italian Margarita. Take 2 oz. of Sauza tequila a million ounce of Ameretto mixture sweet and bitter mixture with orange juice you're able to have it on the rocks or frozen. Use sugar and salt on the rim, that's delicious.

According to the Margarita Master Jimmy Buffet heres how:
Fill shaker with broken cubed ice
squeeze 2 fresh lime wedges into shaker
savor the fresh lime aroma ahhhh
add 2oz of cuervo 1800
sniff the cork
add 1/2 oz of cuervo white (white for bite if you prefer)
add 1 1/4 oz of roses lime juice(make no exceptions)
add 1/2 ounce of bols triple sac (no exceptions)
add a splash of bols orange curacao( shhh secret ingredient)
cover shaker tightly
shake vigourisly
uncover shaker and savor the flavor
rim glass with lime peel(the outside only)salt the outside only, add fresh ice
strain mixture over ice
squeeze in 1 fresh lime wedge
Now kick back, turn up the tunes and enjoy.

Gran Marnier and "rot gut" Tequila. The only Tequila with any taste.
Never tried it with Pulche!

at applebees restuarant they have a drink called this and it comes in a stainless steel cup up ice and a strainer, and you pour it into your salted glass your self, it is pretty decent in size, i have one every time i go there.
