If people mention the Christian God do you consider Him your God too, or you think that's another God? Do you use the word God in your religion too?, or you just refer to him as Allah?

What about the God of the jews, do you consider Him to be the same as your God also?

Because I have seen Islams using the word God in this forum.

The word 'God" is not an acceptable title for the creator of the universe. The reason a lot of Muslims, including myself, say this is because the word god can be manipulated to mean other things that we should not ascribe to the creator.

Here is an example:

God + s makes Gods, which indicates that there are more than one god (polytheistic)

God + ess makes Godess, which indicates gender or sex with the creator

Muslims use the term Allah because it is a title befitting the creator. It is a word that can not be pluralized (you cant sat Allahs, meaning more than one, it is grammatically incorrect) and you can not ascribe gender to the word Allah for the same reason, it is grammatically incorrect in the Arabic language.

Secondly Allah is not just exclusive to Muslims. Arab Christinas and Jews refer to the creator with the same name (Allah). If you look at an Arabic version of the Bible you will see the word Allah, where the word God would be in an English translation.

Thirdly, Muslims believe in the same "god" as the jew and Christian. If you look to the Quran (Muslim holy book) you will see the stories of Moses, Abraham, Noah, Adam, Jesus and all the prophets, may peace be upon them. There is even a verse in the Quran named Mary, which details the life of Mary and her son Jesus.

Forthly, if you look to the language spoken by Jesus (Aramaic language) you will see something intresting. The word used for the creator of the universe is Allah'ha very close in sound &pronunciation to Allah.

Lastly, We use the word god when speaking about Islam to those who are not Muslim because it is a word that non muslims can relate to and know. When amongst other muslims, we use the term Allah.

Allah is the Arabic name for the one God that Muslims, Christians, and Jews believe in. Arab Christians use the name Allah for God. God is a relatively-new English word for the Almighty. The Arabic word, Allah, existed for very long ages before Islam, but Muslims believe in the same one God that older religions believe in i.e. Christianity and Judaism.

God is a word that man/woman uses for the Deity they worship. God is not a person but a Spirit and those that worship Him worship him in spirit. Allah is the name of God for the Muslim religion whereas for Christians AND Jews they worship the same God and his name is Jehovah. Jehovah and Allah are not the same God nor are they worshiping the same Deity. The only similarity is that both are Monotheistic in that they acknowledge only One God. Christians also worship ONE God but say that this One God exist in three forms. Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Jesus Christ being God in the Flesh whereas God the Father is Spirit so is the Holy Spirit of God which is the ministering agent of God the Father. In Islam God's (Allah's) messenger is Mohammad. Islamic people do not acknowledge the Jewish God Jehovah which is also God for the Christian people.

Allah is the Islamic word for God. The name for God, according to Moses for the Jewish people is Yahweh, as was told to him on Mt. Sanai. They are basically the same. The split in religion started with the sons of Abraham or Ibrahim, as the Moslems say. Although the Moslems basically follow the teaching of the Old Testament along with the Quoran, they do not follow or recognize all laws and scripture as related by latter prophets and teachers of the Jewish religion. The Quoran was written 700 years after Christ and most of the New Testament by Mohammed and his minions, as a rebellion to the Jews and Christians and various Asian groups trying to rule the Middle East.

First lets see who allah really is: SATIN, fact is that Mohammad channeled the spirit commonly thought to be that of satin himself.

Now the Arab people don't believe this but if you study ancient texts you will find that Mohammad thought that he was crazy and was going to jump off a cliff, his friends talked him out of it and later they started to right down his contacts with the spirit, (Mohammad himself was illiterate) after they decided to make a religion out of it. I think this explains why they are such a violent group of people.
The Koran states that if you can't convert someone then you should kill them. Does this sound like a god to you?
There is only one GOD but there are many gods(false), the GOD of the Bible says that he is the only GOD, and he is a triune being Father-Son -Holy spirit.
The God of the Jews is the true God the same ones that the Christians worship, the Jews however missed the fact that Jesus fulfilled all of the prophecies of the coming Messiah because they were looking for a King to take over the world at that time, not realizing there was a 2000 year separation between the first coming and the (soon) second coming.
More importantly is that only born again Christians go to heaven. You must accept that Christ payed the price for your sins, anything added to this is religion and wrong!
I strongly advise you to read the book of John, it contains the key to salvation.

If you are a monotheist, you must believe that anyone who uses the word 'God' is referring to the same unique god.

I have seen Christians here saying 'they do not believe in the same god as us'. I consider that an amazing sentence - what, then, are there two gods? I thought Christians were monotheistic?

_If_ you believe that there is only one god, then you must believe that anybody, anywhere in the world who believes in only one god happens to believe in yours.

I don't see any other way to interpret it.

Plus, that is Muslim teaching. And the word for the believers is Muslims. Islam is the name of the religion.

There is one God. Allah is the Arabic word for God (as Dios is the Spanish word for God). If you are an Arabic Christian, your Bible will use the word Allah for God.

Jews Christians and Muslims all worship the same God. The one thing holding the two groups together is the fact that they all recognise Abraham as their father which, by the way, is thier father. As a matter of fact Jews and Muslims are cousins and Jesus Christ was a Jew who kept the Jewsish traditions.

If you read Jesus's teachings he was reminding Jews of the Mosaic laws while at the same time showing Gentiles how to live a holy life. Just remeber it is said many times by Jesus and his deciples that when you accept him as Lord and Savior and follow his true teachings you become part part of Abrahams spiritual inheritence, which means you become Spititual Jews at the same time.
