In the past, I was having trouble dating men because they think they were not good enough since I'm smarter and more well-off. This time, I met someone really smart and financially stable...but I feel like I'm getting dumb whenever I talk to him. How do smart men treat women who arent as smart as them?
Serious answers please.... I really like this guy but I'm afraid he'll lead me on... Thanks!

How smart the person is doesn't determine wether he'll treat you great or not.
The big thing you have to pay attention to is their personality.
What is the personality of that guy you like? Is it what you like in him?
You shouldn't feel dumb whenever you talk to him. It's actually a good thing becuase having you and him as really smart people, then both of you can learn from each other nad become smarter. There may things that you may know that he doesn't and there may be things that he knows that you dont.
If you both really like each other, then continue to stay on that path. Don't have any doubts by his smartness but his personality and what you like in him and what he likes in you.

We follow types for a reason. until eventually we know the trend, we can't injury it. i think this is the case with the lady you're speaking approximately. I think it depends on what kind of guy he is.
I consistanly score an IQ score higher than Einstein. (seriously wasted on me). And I have always treated women with repect, as an equal, as a pal. Whether friends or lovers.
I have been with my wife for 11 year now.
But some guys, for whatever reason are fools. And feel the need to put others down. The old insecure bully.
Sometimes I have to slow down and spell things out for my wife. But I point out to her that she is brilliant at dog training and childcare. Which are her passions.
And my wife takes no offence, as she is interested.
If he is rude about having a higher undertanding then he needs to be told it might come across as a touch arrogant. No one likes to feel little.

How do figure out if a man is smart as history has recorded that none have ever existed. Quit comparing IQ's and who has the most toys bought up and yaddah. If the feeling of like each other is mutual then work on it and develop it; don't treat everything as a competition. Viva la difference.

well the only way to really find out is be in a relationship with this guy....you can't stereotype people i think...regardless if they're smart or not thay may or may not treat you well...but yeah guys like looking really smart (even the smart ones already and don't need to prove it)....just let him have that...let him find out for himself how smart you really are though through other ways (like not having to tell him directly)....girls like you and me...honey...it can be hard accepting the fact that we can eventually meet our match in a smart guy....I'm currently dating a very smart guy, 2 years younger...sometimes i think i'm so dumb compared to him when we talk but...i got my merits too and those you've gotta see...just enjoy it...there will be things you know better than him but don't fixate yourself on this....let him enjoy his time...

If a guy is truthfully smart he will treat you as a partner, equal, friend, and he'll do it with with honesty. If he doesnt then you can't really call him smart can you?!
Also, if you are smart yourself, like you say, i don't think you'll have any trouble because you are not really dumb!
