What are you talking about? Lot was Abraham's nephew, the son of his brother Haran. His daughters slept with him because they has just escaped Sodom, seen Sodom and Gomorrah destroyed and their mother die, and were helpless in the desert believing that they were the last 3 people on earth. So they got their father mind-numbingly drunk so he would go along with their plan. It was simply for the sake of wrongly believing that they had to procreate the species.

Lot wasn't the devil himself. HIs daughters did what they did because it was a desperate attempt on their part to continue the family name, and the human race. Yes it sounds really bad and probably is, but the world was not like it is now and people's thinking was not what it is today. One needs to keep in mind there weren't that many people on the earth, and the priority of people was to reproduce and keep the human race from dying out. They also wanted to keep thier family names from dying out. That's why there was so much incest. It wasn't about lust. Just be glad you didn't live during that time and you don't have to go through that stuff. We are blessed, and we need to appreciate that.

Lot was not the devil. He and his family were the only good people that Abraham found in the city, and God let them go and told them not to look back, but of course Lot's wife did, and was turned to a pillar of salt. As for the daughters, they though that they and their father were the last people on earth, and they did what they did, believing they were saving the human race. They did not do it out of lust.

1. Lot wasn't the devil, but was a righteous man.

2. His daughters did not trust in God's plan and took matters into their own hands.

fame_507,
"Why did Lot's daughters **** him,he being the devil himself?"
Why do people who post questions make it hard to understand the question?
Are you asking if Lot was the devil, that's why his daughters screwed him? No. Are you the devil when someone screws you?

You should be asking what message the author of the story was trying to communicate. It's not like Lot or his daughters ever really existed or like the story ever happened.

Lot separated himself from fellow believers long before he married and had children.

Lots wife came from the very city in which he sought out comfort and material goods.

When Lot had children, he did not raise them up to wait on God, but he did raise them up to believe in their creator. He failed to teach them to trust God for all things, because Lot himself failed to trust in God for all things.

So, when the end of the world they all knew happened, Lots daughters thought they were all alone and on their own. They did not ask God what to do, and decided to depend on their own knowledge of their situation.

Doing this very thing, gets us into the very same types of trouble that Lots daughters brought upon him and themselves. It is a form of self willed childlike behavior.
