Media Player is rubbish for burning CD's, try Nero 7 or MusicMatch

Yeah that happens with me too. I kept Windows Media Player but I just burn cd's with Roxio

Update your Media Player version at Microsoft.com and you'll find it much easier to burn on CD's

You have to make sure that your music file is supported by Win. Media Player...

Run a full format of the hard drive and download the activation crack for xp and try then same problem here ;-)
