Water from wells and reservoirs contains minerals. They are what give water its flavor. Depending on the water source for your home or municipality, your water will contain a variety of minerals. Unless you have a home water softener (which removes them), you get whatever you get from your tap. It's not possible to increase it.

Bottled water that has been distilled contains no minerals. You should avoid it. Our bodies need minerals!
