The cause of Paget's disease is unknown. There are theories about early viral infection and genetic causes. The disease occurs worldwide, but is more common in Europe, Australia, and New Zealand -- where it is seen in up to 5% of the elderly population. The disease is characterized by excessive breakdown of bone tissue, followed by abnormal bone formation. The new bone is structurally enlarged, but weakened and filled with new blood vessels.
Please see the webpages for more details on Paget's disease.

You aren't being specific here, but syphilis is known to reach bone marrow in it's terminal stage.
there are a wide variety of bone diseases but caused by viruses i think syphilis is the only one I've heard about.
Maybe the virus you have gives the pain your referring to but it may or may not affect the bone. Like i said your being two general here.
please visit your doctor

it's your immune system and your diet. Cooked food is poison
After trying for 10 years. I finally lost 150+ lbs (12 stone) and kept it off for over 4 years now. I've beaten 3 terminal diseases and I am now in amazing health, all around, not just thinner.
I did it without medicine, workouts, religion, going hungry or hating my food and without an operation or secret formula. I had tried counting: calories; carbs; fat; etc. I had tried jogging, swimming, weights, aerobics, crazy medicines and starving! But nothing ever worked well or lasted very long.
I also had Hypertension, High Blood Pressure, Chronic Asthma, vision and hearing loss. constant colds and ills, annual flu or pneumonia and more. I was approved for bypass surgery and taking usually between 16 and 20 pills a day.
take a look at my before and after pictures...

Arthritis can be triggered by a viris. Ask your doc for a blood test to rule it out, thats how mine started.

What virus is that? I don't know of any that go there. Bacteria can wind up there and that is about it.
