Don't drink ANY caffeine and only allow yourself a few hours of sleep the night before. No cheating, you can't take a nap either. Then try doing something active (take a walk, ride bicycle, etc.) throughout the day. Tylenol PM isn't that expensive but if you can't get it take a regular tylenol (or any other pain reliever) and pretend it's a sleeping pill. Most of the time not sleeping is just mental. So learn to trick your brain. That's what I do.

This sounds like you should talk to your doctor. One thing that may need to be done is to advance you until you get to a normal time of sleep. Sometimes you cant go back, you have to go around. Be up until 10 am and then go to sleep and stay up 30 minutes later each day until you are back at a normal bed time and stay there. This is something that needs doctor supervision

I am having trouble sleeping too but i have been taking a medicine that is not addictive. Go to a health store that sells vitamins or walmart might have them. Ask them if they have Melatonin. Im taking Melatonin that is 100% vegetarian...Read the labels first and ask the pharmacist for advice. Try a health option store too. Take it till your body clock goes back to normal...around 3-5 days:)..............or You can drink warm milk, turn off the light. Try to eat dinner around 7 pm or earlier too.

lol at Juan's answer, that ought to put you to sleep pretty quickly!
Try taking a hot bath with 2 cups of Epsom salts added and soak for 15 minutes or so, this is very relaxing. You can get the salts in any pharmacy. Also try sipping a cup of chamomile tea before bed, its available in health food stores.
