I don't believe b/c I have too much knowledge and wisdom. THose with faith are blind to true knowledge. Do you have this little piece of knowledge in your head yet?
Ex 11:5 And all the firstborn in the land of Egypt shall die, from the first born of Pharaoh that sitteth upon his throne, even unto the firstborn of the maidservant that is behind the mill; and all the firstborn of beasts.
11:6 And there shall be a great cry throughout all the land of Egypt, such as there was none like it, nor shall be like it any more.
11:7 But against any of the children of Israel shall not a dog move his tongue, against man or beast: that ye may know how that the LORD doth put a difference between the Egyptians and Israel.
If that's true knowledge of god, no thanx

I have the knowledge. I was a practicing Christian for twelve years. I have read the bible. I have three copies of it, actually. I do not believe the stories and philosophy in the bible because it makes no sense to me and because I do not want to live my life that way. Being a Pagan is the right path for me. Blessed be.

John 17:3 This means everlasting life their taking in knowledge of you the only true god and of the one whom you sent forth Jesus Christ.
Yes, knowledge of the bible is important for salvation.
Col 1:15 Rev 3:14 Where the Almighty God created the first spirit son Jesus and by means of him all other things in heaven and in earth was created. There were many spirit sons of God and some of those were wicked. Revelation 12: 7 Talks of a war that broke out in heaven and Micheal and his angels battled with the Devil and his angels. The Devil was thrown down to the earth and the wicked angels with him and it says woe for the earth the devil has come down to you knowing he has a short period of time. That is why the world is so wicked.

I have read the Bible....you are right that knowledge is power, but my education about religion leads me to not believe. It is every ones personal decision. Do not put others down because they do not think like you. Your bible teaches against that. Maybe you are the one that should read the bible.

False. I have the same knowledge as you. I have read the bible, the quran, the book of mormon and various other texts. I also have adequate knowledge of history, psychology, sociology, humanities and science. Based on what I have read in the theological texts I have come to the conclusion that deities do not exist. Actually you will find that most who do not believe have adequate knowledge of the bible since some of us were once practitioners of christianity at some point in our lives.

The bible leads to a lack of knowledge. You perish due to natural selection.

I do not believe because there is no proof, none.
Some will say "read the book" (whichever one). Ever heard of fiction?
As far as 'not having the knowledge' - you can't have knowledge of something that doesn't exist!

That is a bit too simplistic. The better response is to suggest that they get themselves into a good, bible preaching church. Most people have tried reading the bible and have trouble understanding it, and they get put off by the fact that it's not as straightforward as they think it should be.
It's up to us to help people understand, not by changing anything in it, as in some of the bibles that appear now, but, by helping them see what the bible DOES say and not adding OUR 2 cents worth.
They need to know that Jesus loves everyone, they need to know that they are sinners, and confess to their sins, and repent, and then they need to accept Jesus as their Saviour.. They need to know that they can't 'work' their way into heaven, they can't be baptized by proxy into heaven, that the only way to reach heaven is through our Lord Jesus.
God Bless and Keep you.

The bible is a book of mythology so it is irrelevant what it claims.
Unfortunately for bible thumpers, there is no knowledge to be had that supports the bible myths or God belief.
Atheism, the only logical choice.
