When you wash, wash only the roots so you decrease the stress on the rest of your hair. I've found also that permanent color reduces limpness. You don't have to change your color you can match it up to your natural color. If you hair is straight a soft perm will give it volume. Be careful of shampoos for oily hair as they can strip the rest of your hair of valuable oils.

Use a clarifying shampoo. Use a conditioner for oily hair only once a week and make sure you wash it out well with very cold water.
