My dad married wife number 4 after I was grown, but she is a nice person and we are good friends. My first step mom was so great, but she left us and caused a lot of pain. My second step mom was abusive to us kids and I left home because of her. The one I have now is a fine lady, so yes, I guess I do love her.

My father remarried after my mom's death. They were married 49 years. Because of my step mother I had my dad around for about 9 years longer than I would have had she not been in his life. I don't love her as a mom, she isn't old enough to be my mom, but we are great friends.

Yes. My step-mom is great. She's been there with my dad since before I was born. Yes, that means my dad cheated on my mom with my step-mom. My mom's okay with that though, because she & my step-mom get along good too. I actually get along better with my step-mom than I do with my dad.

Well, I had my real mom until I was 47. My step mom is nothing more to me than someone to keep my dad company.

im a step mom and my step kids do love me and call me mom, but they dont try to respect me like they should...

I don't have a step mom and if I have one, I don't because no one can replace my old and original mom.

She's alright... My dad married her after I was already an adult so we aren't that close, but she is a good person and loves my dad... that's all that really matters.
