I've been friends with this guy named greg for a long time, and hes been telling me he loves me....He told me that he likes me and wants to go out with me....do you really think he loves me....or what? i need help here guys!

I hate to say it...but I have to agree with the "When Harry Met Sally" theory of men and women relationships. We really can't be friends without a sexual attraction. Unless one of you or both of you are physically repulsive...sexual attraction is the initial primary factor, not love. That usually comes later. He may deny it, but his physical attraction to you comes first then the emotional. You can have both, but he probably won't hang around too long if there is no potential for a physical relationship. Sounds shallow...but its honest.

what I have learned in middle age is "love" means many different things to everyone-what you may think is love and what he may think is love is may be 2 different things...get to know each other well, in good and bad times. time will tell but then that is no promise either!!

if you like him then go out with him, just watch out he might just want to get in your pants. date him a while and until you are sure that he loves you then if you are ready give it to him. remember after you are sure that he genuine loves you.
