Curfews are part of life whether you want them or not .It helps you to have control and responsibility in life.If your parents tell you they want you home @ 2am then be home by 1:45am.Always 15 min.earlier.Oh! and always call home at least once. When you do this numerous times they'll discuss privately how responsible you are. Then later on ask for another 1/2 hour or so extra .If they say no the first time just respond
"No problem''. never argue back or bring up the issue about how how you always come on time.
The idea is to say very little and walk away quietly. This makes them think and consider how responsible you are and how much
you've changed. At the times that you are grounded let them know you are truly sorry and that sometimes you are having so much fun that you forget the time.or that the designated driver was not ready to leave. then offer yourself to help around the house to make up for it.It works ..believe me.I too have a teen son that loves to enjoy life.
Good luck!

Depends on how old UR. If you are over 25 thats silly. If you are a teenager follow the rules. Your parents are probably more scared and worried than mad. Parents want to protect their children - they love you and care about you - be thankful. Some parents do not give a hoot about their kids and let then run the streets and get in trouble. Forget about the buzz and meet the curfew.

You can't change their minds.

Coming home at 4am is immature, irresponsible & disrespectful of their values & rules of the house. If you're a minor they're still held responsible for all of your actions whatever you do. A reasonable curfew is midnight depending on your age. Do it.

If you're 18 or older, then you need to be out of their house & on your own. Take responsibility.

I would probably be pi##ed myself if my son or daughter came home at that hour in the morning, doesnt show much respect! If they give you a curfew tonight then it was out of your stupidity by taking your parents for granted. Sorry but you bought it on yourself as it show little maturity and responisbility.

And rightly so! You'll have to earn your way back into their good graces by behaving like a mature responsible person if you want them to trust you. It isn't going to happen overnight either. Besides that, you don't belong staying out until 4:00 a.m. in the first place!

if you live with them or are visiting them from out of town then when you are staying with them...their guidelines/rules are the ones to follow even if you think they are unreasonable...if you are over 21 and just visiting-stay in a hotel-but it sounds like you are a teen so if you want to continue to enjoy the benefits of home-get home.
my kids owe me the minutes they were late one night on the next night they go out so if you were at my house you would be coming home sometime about 8pm...and that would ruin the spirit of the evening. they owed me twice before they got the idea.

You took BIG advantage of them last night. I think they're well within rights to give you a curfew tonight. You should consider things carefully before you stay out all night. Suck it up.

You are out of control and have serious issues. You need help. A 15 y.o. has no business out on the town at 4 am. Please seek counseling. Your parents, believe it or not are looking out for your best interest. You can not possibly know what is in your best interest if you cut your wrists.

How old are you? If you live with your parents you should respect their home and their rules. No one should be roaming the streets at 4 o'clock in the morning.
