If you really think it is going to be a loud one, then ask for permission, because you never know..but if it is a silent but deadly one, you have two options...to do it and look at the guy next to you, or do it and say nothing and disrupt the class. However, the loud ones can't be disputed, but usually are not lethal. Now the lethal ones are loud and smelly. So in conclusion, you should ask to go to the restroom, to keep from disrupting the class, that is, if you can trust the teacher not to laugh about you with the other students after you have left the room. ...or buy a plug. LOL

When I was in school I was the really slim girl that was a model and nobody ever ever EVER thought I was the one that was farting. I was lucky enough that mine tended to be quiet. If you can release it so it makes no noise (usually pad your chair with a sweatshirt or a coat so that it muffles it if you can't), you'll be fine. It'll waft and hit all the people near you and wait until 1 person reacts first, then you can look up and sniff a little and go, " ... what the hell!" and laugh a little, " next time step outside," say jokingly to nobody in particular. If you're sitting by someone that smells normally or that farts a lot or that looks like he'd fart (really, really heavy; unhygienic; or just creepy and unpopular).

I've always gone with the release gradually method because I was afraid if I stood up I'd lose control and fart really loud.

You're supposed to ask permission to leave. It's a closed room and most schools don't leave their windows open. No one wants to sit in that for 30 minutes to three hours.

When i was in school i diden care. If I has to fart i would let it rip and diden gaive a damn who diden like it. I use to see how loud i could get. I was in calss one time and let a fart that you could hear in the next county. The teacher got mad over it but i diden care. HeII with her. Well about 10 min later i did it again. And the teacher made me leave the room after that one. I had to stand in the hall and was out there doing it.. lol.They could hear then in the room!! But like it said i diden give a damn who diden like it. the heII with em' So just do like i did let Em' rip!!! Try to release it gradually. If it stinks, just look around at your classmates while frowning, with the look that says "Who farted??"
