hiya i went to turkey in may and got about 40 bites so i know how u feel the only thing i found to work was eaurex cream and antihistamines. but in future if u are headin away any where take garlic tablets before u go it's supposed to repel them. by the way u can buy both in a supermarket or a pharmacy

Get some garlic tablets and take 3 a day for about 2 weeks before you go on holiday and during your holiday. Mosquito's won't bite you because the garlic deters them.

Get some Repel insect repellent 40% deet or Off Deep woods, but rubbing alcohol will help with the bites and Caladryl Lotion, Believe I know I live in the woods.

Well, there are lots of things....
At the drugstore, Bactine, Solarcaine, Caladryl....
If you have none of that at home, try a paste of baking soda with water, or try alcohol on a cotton ball...
Even an ice pack will offer relief....

Apply balsamic vinegar to the bite. It helps to stop itching and allows it to heal quicker.

if its a big lump, use ice to get it down. Then a touch of calamine lotion, works for all bites.
