Dogs should be left outside. Keeping them in the house is not healthy for them.

Sounds like seperation anxiety and maybe boredom. Step up the amount of exercise you give her, you'll know when it's enough, she will lay down and go to sleep as soon as you bring her in. Exercise her before you go out so that she will be too tired to bark. Put her leash on and run with her for about half an hour (depending on the breed, some need 3 hours or more of human lead exercise a day) If you're unable to do it, see if you can get a friend or relative to come when you're not home or hire a dog walker.
Try environment enrichment so she has things to do while you're not at home, put her food into papertowel tubes and twist the ends, hide her food around the house so she has to hunt to find it etc.

Don't try those horrible collars, that's cruel!! Your dog barks because she feels anxious, she doesn't know certainly if you're coming back or not!!! she barks to reunite her family (wild canine instinct). She's really close to you. You have to teach her that she can survive without you. First of all you have to put her in a safe place, a smaller room, a kennel, and give toys she likes so she can play and distract when you leave home. You should make her more independent, like not caressing her too much when you arrive or leave home, you can also try leaving tv or radio on, depending on what kind of noise she's accostumed when you're at home, reducing gradually the time the noise is on.
Try also not to leave her too much time alone, and begin increasing this time gradually, until she is sure you will be back.
This is a therapy, so you'll have to be patient and do this for 2 weeks as a minimun, In resume:
1.-Stablish clear rules. You're the boss of the group.
2.-Do not excess your love prooves to her.
3.- The dog shall work for anything she wants (do not pamper her and and do not give her all she wants)
4.-Give mental and physical stimulation to the dog (more exercise, play with other dogs).
5.-Leave her in her safe zone when u go out.
6.- Give her a "short-time-leaving" signal, a special food could work so she will know everytime she eats this she knows you'll be back soon.
7.- Go in and go out home for short periods of time, often, until she gets accostumed.
8.-Ignore the dog when you leave and arrive home
9.-Try to do not have any rutine for leaving and arriving home (I know that's difficult, but you should try, go to the movies once after work or somethin)
10.-Increase gradually the time you're not at home.
Remember: Do not punish her, nor hit her. she does this because she loves you lots, maybe she can repeat the actions, that's why I tell you: be patient! Good luck!!

Your dog is suffering separation anxiety...sorry, but its brought on by yourself...very hard to break
The dog is so used to going everywhere with you that it panics when you are out of sight...I'd guess your dog thinks its the 'alfa' dog- thus barking when you disappear as it thinks it has lost one of its pack...
Try leaving your dog in the house...Do NOT speak to the dog for half an hour before putting on your coat and going outside...wait....once you hear the dog bark, go back inside BUT ignore the dog for 15 mins or so...then calmly say hello...try this a few times until you can stand outside for longer periods before entering.....It will take time, though it does work....
Good luck..

Poor thing is missing you big time, have you tried an old clock under bed, yes sounds crazy but its just like a heartbeat to them and does help calm them down a bit, have you tried the 'Worry toy' from Pets at Home, you put bits of dried food, biscuits or sausage and cheese inside it and the dog spends hours trying to get it out thus stopping them fretting or worrying were you are, it is so hard when you love your dog and can't take them everywhere with you, ring round a few vets to see if they can advice you on stopping you dog barking, lot of them are so helpful, good luck.

The collar on its own is useless, it is only to be used as part of a training program. They were never designed to be used in this way.
You need to learn how to train your dog, and that means going to a trainer. I'd suggest you see a behavioural trainer. Ask your vet if they have one attatched to the practice, most places do now.
If not, contact the Association of Pet Behaviour Counsellers.

Go to a good trainer. You will be able to correct it in no time. Collars hardly ever work.
