Dandruff Treatment
Unfortunately there is no cure for dandruff yet (once you get it you may continue to have it), but there are ways that you can control and limit dandruff.

If you have only a mild case of dandruff, shampooing your hair with a regular shampoo daily or twice a day will usually do the trick.

Start out by trying a mild shampoo, stronger shampoos can irritate and dry out your hair making dandruff flaking worst.

If your standard shampoo doesn't get rid of your dandruff, buy an anti-dandruff shampoo and your dandruff condition should improve signifigantly in a couple of weeks.

Picking the right shampoo for your hair can be a process of trial and error, try out different shampoos to see which one works best for you and also rotating shampoos periodically can be good for your hair.

Once you have found an anti-dandruff shampoo that works for you, keep on using it or your dandruff will most likely reoccur.

Lather and rinse twice when using anti-dandruff shampoos, the first time cycle will clean your scalp, the second cycle will medicate it.

Pantene has a dandruff version that is very reliable. a number of the large duper (merely about prescription searching bottles of shampoo) do the trick, yet do not do a lot on your hair. The Pantene dandruff shampoo seems after the dandruff and leaves your hair silky too. also be careful now to not watch too a lot product (mousse or gel) for your hair with the aid of the undeniable fact that could dry and look flaky too.

Dear Viru

The answer to your medical question first of all depend's upon whether your hair in texture is Normal, Greasee, or Dry. But what I would advice to deal with this problem, is first of all, wash your hair thoroughly with Hot Water and Two or Three Table Spoons of Domestic Red Vinegar mixed together about Twice a Week for about 2 or 3 week's. After this period of time, you can commence to use your hair shampoo as normal and I would suggest that you try a hair shampoo called ( Head & Shoulders ) if you can obtain it from were you live. If you cannot obtain this shampoo product, then continue to use a antidandruff shampoo of your choice.

I therefore trust that this answer's your medical question.

If you've tried different shampoos, and the dandruff remains, you need to see a Dermatologist. You probably have a dry skin situation that requires special treatments.

Avoid touching your hair. When I learned to keep my hands off of my hair, the dandruff went away.
