I think you accidentally used the wrong word. Suppressing means quashing. Perhaps you meant to say something like vindicating, liberating, or establishing? Those would more accurately reflect what America is doing. Probably just an early morning goof on your part.

"Suppressing Human Rights?" The Judicial system isn't suppressing anything. Because of todays current events all that is being done is narrowing the Bill of Rights. As we know, as an individual, we have certain rights, but when it bleeds over into our society as a whole, then somethings have to change, like it or not. Although I don't agree with everything that is being done, I feel that if one terrorist is taken off the street, I feel just a little bit safer, just knowing that our Law Enforcement people are doing what is neccessary to protect us.

Because people are so intimidated by police and judges that they don't fight it. There is money and time involved and some proof is needed, which is hard to get. People really should hire a lawyer and bring the particular officers to court on human/civil right violation charges if that's the case. Otherwise it will only get worse.

People in enforcement positions often get there because they desire that kind of power over others and will misuse it at times........... human beings wear police uniforms too.
