If you go around eating nothing but chocolate, it's not going to end well for you. ;)

Yes, chocolate has a lot of energy- but it's the simple kind. Your body burns it up fast, giving you a quick energy high before you crash (and burn! :P). It also doesn't provide the vitamins/minerals you'd get from a proper meal.

And the amount of calories/kilojoules in a bar of chocolate can usually be found in the nutritional information on the wrapper.
