Flowers are always nice

smile or send them a happy pack e.g: a small ribbon( because it helps to keep everything together), a picture of yourself(to remind them you're always there for them), a love heart chocolate(because it's as sweet as they are), a flower(it represents growth and life) and last but not least, a calender starting from tomorrow(because it's a new day). Oh, you could also put ina bandaid( while it's a temporary measure for any wound, it's also a reminder that every sistuation is also a temporary one) Hope that helps.., you sound like a caring friend, whoever it is, they're lucky to have you:)

Tell them to have a good day. Always be there to listen and give good advice. Always tell the truth, but in love and in truth.
Remind them of their good traits when they are feeling down.

Send a card of friendship, no holiday is needed to just say, you are special.

by showing them respect, by letting them know you are glad to see them, and letting them know you care how they are feeling . everyone needs to feel valuable, they need to know that they count. no matter what's going on in your life, give them the best smile you can call up for them. your having made them feel good will brighten your day too.

look out for something pleasant about the person ... things he/she did, something different they wear ... there must be something if you look hard enough ... and compliment on it ... SINCERELY. if appropriate, compliment publicly i.e. with people around. that should bring on a smile :-)
