It doesn't say how many, but it says that he took every "kind" of animal. Which means he didn't bring Wolves, German Sheppards, and Chawawas. He only brought, one pair of each "kind" which makes a lot more sense, otherwise the ship would be very crowded. If you want more info, just let me know.
