This is a lazy, ignorant habit that a lot of drivers have, they just merge in front of you or suddenly pull out from a parking place. They must think its road etiquette rather than safety, and they dont feel like being mannerly to a stranger!!People should be made to sit their driving test again every few years.

I'm guessing because a truck hasn't knocked them off the road into a ditch yet. Some people are just lazy. Including the police that see this and other illegal behavior and do nothing about it. (like talking on the phone while driving, reading the newspaper, shaving, puting on make-up....I have seen them all.)

Well in some parts of the States the standard of driving is just horrendous. I know when I took my test in Tennessee I was expecting a real test as I had received in England many years before. But all I had to do was drive around the block making only right turns, in an automatic. A chimp could be trained to do that. They need to make the test an awful lot harder or it is really no test at all.

Because alot of people think that they are the only ones that are driving on the roads as if they are sole owners. unfortunately there is one age group that is the worse and they just need to have their drivers license yanked all together.

I think it's because the Cracker Jack box from which they got their license in the first place failed to provide instructions in that, and many other areas, of driving.

Some people drunk drive, are stupid ans just are too joung to drive and some people just want to kill themselves. Why dont they just go on the race track?

because in this day and age most people are selfish and inconsiderate... they dont care about anybody but themselves and prove it by the way they drive.... unsafe.

I do - because it is required by law, and it's a hell of a lot safer.
