It's in the dosage really, people mostly die of overdosing. The other cause of death with heroin are the impurities that occur in cut heroin. It is said to be a very euphoric death so dying of heroin is more pleasant than the countless other ways that people die. But if you have better things to do just don't think of dying any time soon.

Are you saying that you did some heroin and you don't feel well? Call 911 and get some help! Heroin itself is only toxic when taken in too large a dose. A person who OD's passes out and doesn't wake up again. If you are sick then the person who sold it to you used some kind of cut that is causing you to feel sick. Either that or you are not yet an addict and you are only feeling sick to your stomach which happens until you become hooked and then you get sick to your stomach when you DON'T have any heroin.

If you're worried about dying, not taking any more heroin might be a step in the right direction. Just a thought.

Well in Chicago (and I think across the country) the bad batches that people thought was just herion was actually mostly fentanyl. It's about 90 times more powerful than morphine. It pretty much stops you from breathing. It's verrry dangerous.

heroin itself is the highly refined extract of the poppy. It is more highly refined than morphine. In a large dose, it causes respiratory failure.

Heroin is an opiate. Overdosing with opiates depresses respiration which can lead to death.
