The same thing may be good for some and bad for others. If you say that you only allow the good and avoid that which is bad but are you unaware of what 'good' is?

What is good to one can be bad for someone else, in the same way what is bad for one may be good for someone else.

For example, in India, Hindus consider it evil to eat meat of a cow, while in the west beef-eating is not considered bad at all.

A muslim can have 4 wives and still go to heaven, while believers of a lot of other religions will go to hell because they married more than one woman.

A Jain will get negetive karma and re-incarnate as an insect if he eats the flesh of an animal. No such thing happens to christians, muslims or hindus!

Lets accept it, there is NO defination for good and bad, the defination of what is good and what is bad differs from person to person.

How can you know what is the ultimate good or the ultimate bad?

It is very important that before trying to accept or reject any thing just because they are "good" or "bad" we understand good and bad.

Good can not exist without bad just as a mountain can not exist without a valley, just as light can not exist if there is no darkness. The good in your world does not have any evil - it can not show itself to you, it can not manifest itself without the existence of bad, and same is the case for evil.

If you have been smiling all your life, and you have never cried, your smile is totally emotion less, there is no joy of smiling, you need to cry sometimes, only then you will come to know why smiling is so important, is so meaningful, is so joyful.

My point is, You have to accept bad in order to enjoy what's good, good and bad are joined together, completely inseperable. good is always hidden in the bad and bad in the good. In Fact, they are the exact same thing - only you look at parts of it in different ways and call it "good" and "bad".

Life is 'double entry accounting'. Every 'debit' ie 'evil or bad' has a 'credit' ie 'good'. Both are inseperable.

The thing that God will not forgive you for is not accepting Jesus Christ as you Savior. Heaven is a place for believers. Heaven is a place where we will fellowship with God. Heaven is our place of hope and peace. Jesus is the way and the truth and the life and only through Him will we ever get to heaven. Humans, especially once they are introduced to Jesus, have an inborn sense of right and wrong. We all feel bad when we have done something wrong. Likewise we know when we are doing the right thing. Even believers don't always do the right thing, we all sin and fall short of God's Glory. But by the sacrifice of Jesus Christ we have the right of forgiveness. We can repent of our sin and Jesus is true to forgive us and forget those sins never to be remembered again. Find you a church that teaches the Bible and study the Bible and that will remove all doubt as to what is right and what is wrong. Right now you haven't done anything that Jesus will not forgive you for if you will just ask. So why not pray and tell Jesus that you know you are a sinner and you truly want to come under His Salvation and follow him with an understanding that you can receive forgiveness for all your transgressions if you will just accept Him and turn from the sins of this world and follow Him. If you truly mean this you will be saved.

The bible is pretty clear on good and bad, but that's not how you get to heaven. You are saved (meaning you get to go to heaven and live with God rather than cast into the lake of fire) by grace, that is you are saved not because of your good or bad deeds but because God allowed your salvation or chose you. We live in the age of grace. You are saved by your belief in Jesus, that he lived, died for your sin and still lives today. You are also to live a life of service to others, giving and loving your neighbor. Why? Because faith without works is dead. You can live a good life and be kind to others and still go to hell because you didn't belive in Jesus. Likewise you can live a horrible life being mean and doing nothing for anybody and then repent on your deathbed and be saved. But you cannot call yourself a Christian and live a life of selfishness because faith without works is dead. If you truly believe in Jesus, you will live a life of love, charity, and kindness to others because "what you do unto the least of these you do unto Me". If you love God you will do good, you will make mistakes, but you will be forgiven. You are saved by God's grace because he loves you and all you have to do in return is love Him, it's easy it's what you were born to do.

I am giving you the same answer I gave the guy who wondered about "Good" and "Evil". There is no such thing. These are just words which describe different actions in different societies. Killing a defenseless baby-Harp Seal may be considered "Bad" to some people, but a necessary action to feed someone else. It is all relative. I think you can figure out what is normal behavior in your social climate.

You know in your heart what is good & what is bad if you are among the living ( spiritualy speaking ). Your thoughts, words and deeds affect you. In your heart you feel what is good and what is not as soon as you speak, think or do by the feeling you receive or perceive. Your heart must be lighter than a feather on God's balance scale to enter His Kingdom!

Make a list of the virtues. They are the attributes of God for He is good. God is the author of life. It is good.
Make a list of the vices. They are the attributes of the evil one who is the father of all lies and a murderer from the beginning. They are bad. They lead to death.

God created us and left us a record (the Bible) to tell us what is right or wrong for us. Because he loves us, he only wants what is best for us and he gives us this information through stories, principles and the record of his son, Jesus' life. Don't be bullied into believing this, but decide for yourself. God wants people to serve him out of love and concern--not out of a fear of firey torment which the Bible says he would NEVER do such a thing to his children.

That's just it...you will not decide.....Jesus paid for your sin, that's it, we will be confronted at his feet by his grace, and he Loves you.

God's agenda is for you to grow in grace and knowledge of Jesus Christ, to stop conforming to this evil world and be transformed in your mind.

Religion is a human good, it makes us look good on the outside, but Love is what God sees. If you are filled with doing great things for God, you lose perspective in God's agenda for your Life. There are no great things you can do for God, he does not need us, WE need God.

Don't get caught up with "The World", Every time we choose our own agenda over Gods we agree with Satan's defense accusing God for being unfair.
Religion and self promotion follows Satan...that is bad.
Faith and Spiritual Growth follows God and his plan...that is good.

Faith is your basic training ground. Spiritual self esteem is confidence in God. A personal sense of Destiny. His Agenda, not your own is next. Trust Him in Bible Doctrine to learn the details and circumstances in your life through the mind of Christ....Doctrine!

I ask God. I asked Him a long time ago and He has shown me many things that are good and pure and lovely and of a good report. And now I pray in this way: Father, in Jesus name, I claim truth and discernment to know what is good and pure and lovely, and of a good report and what is not.
I do not believe everything "religious" people tell .I go to God through Jesus and He reveals His truth by the Holy Spirit who is the comforter and teacher of all Christians who will ask.
