yes it does. Long term relationships ar the foundation for a lifetime committed relationship. Once you are in a long term relationship you can be more open, be less afraid and truly reveal yourself and hare yourself with your mate. Some people just use them as a comfort zone, I personally am elated that i have been with the same person for almost 2 years. I love not having the dating scene, worrying about possible relationships, using protection, etc. When within the confine of a monogomous relationship, long term is great.
