I would say firstly look at internal factors, such as are you drinking enough water, do you have a balanced diet, perhaps take some supplements to help things along. Many people overlook this, but it can make all the difference.
In terms of products, I would say try and use natural care lines such as organic root stimulator, single bible etc. Target products that contian shea butter, essential oils such as Jasmin oil, Almond Oil, Carrot oil etc. Stay away from heavy promades and gels such as dax that just coat the hair with greasy mess and do much more damage than good. Use good moisturisers and leaving conditioners, if possible pop in to a "good" hairdressers, i.e people who know what they are doing, and ask them for product advice and hair care direction.
Be carfeul how you treat your hair, try and avoid relaxers, instead wear braids, twits, flat iron ur hair, wear wavy twist-outs... or if you must texturise you hair (weak relaxer) but try and leave the full on relaxer alone. Its important to rember that everyones hair different so what may work on your mates may not on yours and vice versa. I say that becuase my hair is completely natural, afro hair and is currently a few inches above my bra strap, i deep condition and blowdry, however some people hair hates heat. It just depends on your hair, and how it likes to behave.
Lastly, go on this site called nappturality : www.nappturality.com. Its a fantastic free site, for black women with natural hair...you will see the most fab, styles, hair, and lengths known to mankind. Its also the ultimate advice source.
hope thats helps xx

There is no such product. The way to grow your hair is to maintain healty hair. The key to doing that is to stay up on trimings every 3-6 weeks, keep hair moisturized, use anti-breakage or hair strengthening products, and your good nutrition. People sometimes don't think about nutrition but its important. Try to drink plenty of water, and use a multi-viatmin. And try to use products with petroleum, mineral oil, or sodium sulfate as little as possible.
I know it seems like to much hassle but the key is to pick good products here is a list:
- cocunut, olive, carrot, or variety oils for moisture and hot oil treatments
-use shampoo bars from JR Ligget, Burt Bee's, or other's that don't have sulfates
-apply as little heat as possible
Thats the basics.

Stay away from relaxers. Deep condition each time you shampoo. Get a protective style like braids or twists but don/t keep them in longer than 6 weeks. Keep you ends clipped. Do not use grease use oil. Don't use hair spritz that contains alcohol.
