I am about to go into what I call a dry period. this means no sex no alcohol and no meat. Are girls fine without sex for long periods of time ?

But it's like keeping an ashtray in your lap if you don't smoke at all...
If you intend no sex, then why are you with the girls in the first place?

Physiologically, girls are fine without sex. Hormonal kicks may lead you into temptation and make you want to jump at the chance, but this is all normal, and with a good head and some clear thinking, you should be able to hold back. There's plenty you can appreciate from someone else without having to have sex. Maybe you'll need to stretch your emotional boundaries a little bit, but it's definitely possible, and easier than it may seem.
And to answer your general question, sex isn't really necessary on many situations, but it is a pleasurable experience, which would make it odd to hold back. However, if your wish and goal is to grow and find a relationship in which having sex would be worth having, then you're on a short-to-very long quest that, if you take the time to think, reflect, and consider patiently, can lead to a very satisfying sexual experience - the kind consisting of both the body and the soul, not just a rough, raw, quickie.

This depends on each person..some can..some cannot..Control and how much you enjoy sex will be the factors..Of course temptations are also a contributing factor. I,myself dont think I could. Good luck my friend!

Some girls are...not all of them. I for one, can live without sex for awhile, thats what sexual toys are for. My boyfriend went through Lent and gave up sex for 40 days, I survived....and if your girlfriend cant wait for it, then she isnt worth it. I know that sounds harsh but....sex is sex. It doesnt make the relationship....good luck!

nope its not "nescesary" but you may think its necessary...so get a tube of bengay for your wrist if your a guy...or some duracell batteries for the vibrator if your a gal

sex is absolutely necessary in a relationship but if it is absolutely necessary to fast then you will still live without it for sure
