what are the effects of this disease? what are the precautions to be taken by a xynus patients?what is its ailment & how long does it take to recover?

its an ENt disease, i dont know its exact spelling. its related to pus in the internal part of ENT.
i think xynus is the short form of the disease, its pronounced as
si(as in sight)-n-a-s

Hi , the correct terminology is SINUSITIS..
Sinus means the air filled spaces found in different parts of the skull. 2 are ther on either sides of the nose, two small spaces on the frontal area, and 2 others are also there.
The inflammation and the infection of the lining of these spaces are called "sinusitis" , , the word "itis" indicating infection.
In acute cases, ani-inflammatory drugs, pain killers and antibiotics will help..In chronic cases, maybe if the medical approach fails, surgical cure is also available.
The time taken for recovery depends upon the degree and severity of infection.
The preventive approach has helped many patients., like avoidance of dust, cold, using masks while getting exposed to unfamiliar weather conditions etc.

Sorry checked mayoclinic.com and there is no such thing. Are you sure you know what you have and the correct spelling? I even checked their A-Z disease section and there was no such thing.

I'm in the medical field and have never heard of a disease called "xynus" I've heard of the medicine called "xanax" please check your spelling and re post.
