the stomach.
the stomach produces enzymes that dissolves the food inside it. but the stomach is not affected by the enzyme because it has a protective lining. But when the stomach is left empty for a long time the enzyme will eventually destroy the lining and dissolves the stomach. hence, the stomach is eating itself.
