Good 'Clubs': Suggestions?

I am not too much of a fan of discotheques. And there seem to be a lot of pubs and not much "clubs" here in Chennai. Where do you night animals party?

i have never been to chennai, but if you come to mumbai there is, velvet lounge, polyester, insomnia, jazz, redlight, rock bottom, akina, HQ, H2O, rasberry rhino etc. these are just a few top of my head answers.
