it takes courage to tell a guy you like him. but who knows he might feel the same about you. sounds like the guys you are talking about are fairly young and that is why you are getting the reaction that you get back.
dont be afraid to to speak up first, you dont always have to leave it to the guy, sometimes they are shy too and you might miss out on a good friendship.

Honesty in relationships is a great thing. But honesty needs to be at the right level and at the right time. If you just met the person at school or work and you barely know each others names, it is probably not a good idea to blurt out "I like you" out of the blue. Get to know the person a little longer. See if there is some mutual "like" going on. Some chemistry. If there is, go on to the next level. Say, like 'ann do you wanna like. . get together to go over our biology homework sometime?' Or some other thing that just breaks the ice. Depending on the response, take your cues from that. If you show your cards too soon, thought, you are at a disadvantage. Some people would take advantage of that.

It depends on your age. If you are under age 15, you can pretty much take back what you said later if he shows no interest. Over 16, be more careful with your heart. When you tell a guy that you like him, he pretty much knows he can get away with a lot. Guys are ruled by the visual, when a guy likes a girl he will stare at her a lot. Guys also do not like desperate, it will make them run the other way.

The best way to see if he likes you is to see if he wants to hang out as friends first. Pick an activity that's fun like miniature golf or shooting pool. Just say something like "Hey - I'm going to Castles and Coasters Friday - do you want to join me?" It's not wrong for a girl to make the first move - who knows, he might be flattered! Don't think of it is as a "date" and that will take a lot of pressure off both of you. Who knows - he might like you and he may be too shy to talk to you! If he wants to see more of you after the first meeting, then he's interested.

You should totally tell him your feelings. All the guys I know love it when girls make the first move, it can be just as nerve-racking for them as it is for us.
To tell if he likes you back, check his body language. He will be sending signals if hes interested. But the best way to do it is to just put it out there. If by chance the feelings arent reciprocated at least you will know, and you will be able to move on and not waste any further time on him.

if u just do it 'matter of fact' then he will get the message, if u do it coy then he is likely to be coy with u - so depends what u want out of the potentail relationship
a friendship or a fling, there are women much older and more experienced than u still making the same mistakes i fear ;oP

i think you should and guys like girl that know what they want, and i notice girls always keep there attraction to another guy on the down low and its really stupid, i mean if you like the guy thats normal, now if you have like some crush and are obsessive then i don't think you should it might freak him out, anyways im gay and i wish i could tell a guy i liked him as much as a girl could, i still do if i think they are way hot, good luck

There's nothing wrong for a girl to tell a guy that you like him. It's just that some guys are not ready for such and you might wreck his whole world... He might go, "OOOH MY DUDENESS!!! SHE LIKES ME!?" It might give him a panic attack..
But nevertheless, it's YOU who like him and not HIM liking YOU.
Just expect everything. Place everything in your calculations.

um... it would never be wrong to tell a guy you like him. It's actually what you are supposed to do when you want him to consider you as a possible girlfriend, or even make sure he knows that way he doesn't go and try to figure out any siginals or signs you've sent him. Believe me just tell him, and see what he says.
