The Catholic Church, on the death of a Pope - when he dies a silver hammer is used to whack him on the head, and he is asked in the name of his mother, God etc 'Are you dead' without being too disrespectful I see no need to hit a corpse and ask questions as to its present health, still less to expect an answer!
I read this info in an article written by a doctor who witnessed the ritual.

How is that funny? You do, however, bring up a good point here.
The person who seems very righteous could be closer to hellfire than the person that seems the farthest away.
What you quoted proves this. A man could be so close and fall, but God willing, with His mercy the man could still be admitted to Heaven, but he may have to spend some time in hellfire to cleanse his bad deeds.
There is a story of a prostitute. She was dirty and did evil things. She saw a dog that was very thirsty, as it was very hot. She gave the dog a drink of water and was admitted into Paradise. The lesson here is that we can't judge each other because that is up to God to decide to forgive or punish. Please think of that.
Also, Why does it surprise you so much that your deeds are being recorded. The books will be weighed on the day of Judgement and Everyone will see who the losers are.
Peace

Fundamentalist Christians believe everything in the Bible - this means they don't use man-made fibres, don't shave, don't eat shellfish and many other things...oh no wait.,.they generally pick and choose and use the Bible to condemn homosexuals, while all the time ignoring its other pronouncements.
The funniest religion is anyone that preaches hate and intolerance....so far, I have found, with the exception of Buddhism, which isn't really a religion in the sense that the others are, they are all 'funny'.

I kind of feel that whatever rules a religion has will be appropriate for their beliefs. I also feel that nobody's religion is better than another. Whatever the religion is and the person is happy on that path, those are the rules the follow. I personally don't think we should ever make sport of anothers religion.

scientology, it beggars belief in their belief. To think that Hubbard 's cult or religion may never have come about if he hadnt written a string of science fiction paperbacks! Then again, same thing goes for the other religions really.

Your comments have a great intrinsic value. You have to feel and believe in the rules made by a religion.
And no religion is a fun game.
Every religion is a different path which takes you to the one and only one GOD.
Religions or beliefs do not count.
But the Destination is.
