No because it is fiction, doesn't even accurately have historical basis twisted fiction a story and that's it. Marketing strategy to sell it as the "truth" or some great mystery nope rehashed gnostic gospel, mixed with a silly art debate, and some papers that the auther of them has publically come out and said was a rouse. No no truth in it other than bashing the Roman Catholic church and Opus Dei (who doesn't even have monks another twist and half veiled lie) fiction plain and simple from a Christian

Purely fiction with an evil intent on getting you doubt that Jesus is true, the way it is written in the bible! If the devil can get you to doubt, your prayers will have now power! I guess it all depends on the individual. The book is listed as fiction n the movie i have not seen. However, through the years, with my own research n understanding, one thing is for sure...During those times, the church is indeed powerful n even 'til today. The very existence of the Vatican has very questionable people involve in their 'affairs'. Religion is good but it can b twisted when men mixed it with pride, greed n politics.
