People ask questions because of curiosity sometimes they ask because they honestly just don't know the answer. That does not make them any less smarter than anyone else and for someone to call a curious person stupid that just means he or she has issues of their own to deal with.

I Think that People ask stupid questions is because you believe their questions are stupid...but maybe they are really stupid or maybe they have nothing to do in life, or maybe they just want to laugh at the questions that they made....hey, I bet this is a stupid answer to your question, but that's fine XD :D
