I'm damn angry n confused with my friend who I know for 8 yrs.He invited me 2 one of our friend's convocation.I dont know any of family members of him but my friend does. When i went there he even didnt introduce me to the family members. He just stood with them and ignored me. Later he asked me to go and introduce myself to them. All of them already staring at me. wondering who am i and why im standing there? I called my best friend and asked her wat to do. She asked me to be patience and wait until my another friend come out from the hall and hand over the flower first. Since i cannot stand there like a stupid ***** anymore i went to him and gave him the flower and told to pass it to our friend. He start asking wat happened and why i wanted to leave.Told him tat IM FINE N I JUST WANNA GO BACK!Asked me to wait another 5 min since our friend is going 2 come out.I agreed. Finally i handed over the flower and i left.He doesnt look happy but i felt so angry and humiliated. Why he did tat?

When he's with me (alone) he's a good guy. i really like him. He's funny and smart. but why he's treating me like a dog when other people is around. I dont deserve all this. I never hurt his feeling as far as i remeber. I dont think i need this kind of friend anymore. I really like him and i know he knows tat. i never tell him about it. After today's incident i really feel very hurt. I was crying when i drove back to home. 3 years ago he did hurt my feelings and i didnt talk to him for 3 years. What should i do?

While the possibility of foul play is always present, more likely than not, this is simply a case of a boy not being taught proper etiquette. I had it drilled into me for many years, and even my closest friends sometimes laugh at some of the rules I follow. It is said that "Ignorance is better than stupidity, for ignorance may be taught". I can only hope that your friend was just ignorant. If this is so, a direct and polite response from you will be the start of the end of his ignorance.
I wish you luck

Sometimes people to get carried away in parties. But, it seems that your friend doesn't know much of manners to introduce people.
I hope you arent expecting more than friendship from him. Maybe he is thinking that if he introduces you to his family, they might assume that you are in a relationship, when he isnt interested in you more than a friend.

And you should be more than angry with his conduct which was deplorable. I'd tell him he destoryed any faith you had in your friendship by his lack of introducing you to the family, and it will take more than an apoligy to get that trust back

insensitivity is not just a male trait, your friend displays the ignorance of youth, tell him in plain english what occured and how stupid he made you feel by his rudeness,if he shows no remorse then walk away for he will never change. after an eight year freindship you really should have known what he is capable of ,

Perhaps he just don't know how to conduct himself in that kind of situation... whatever you do don't take it personal, that's on him. you did the right thing...
