Hello Byrdie,

I am a mother of 5, plus quite a few grandkids. As a mother I would suggest this, something that she really likes that you know that you have noticed that she needs. If she likes things that smell good, like her favorite perfume, or something for a soak in the tub to relax, incence and candles with silky bubble bath stuff, or buy her favorite coffee brand with a special cup and saucer in a special wrapped basket. You can even get her a little trinket, and crystal angel with her birthstone that she can put on her vanity dressor. Something that she can have to hold onto that will always remind her of you.

Try not to get her anything that would make her feel old, anything that would make her think she is or may be over weight. Get her somthing that would make her feel good and loved by you.

Even though she don't have to lift a finger all day and be treated like royalty all day for the anniversary of her birth. Tell her you love her and that God gave her to you. With out her there wouldnt be you. Shower her with love.

I always told my kids they dont have to get me anything even though I do need things. I always had this with me, if I get something for me, I would be letting them down cause they need things more then I do. Even after I get them the things they need, and nothing is left , I don't mind cause my kids are taken care of.
The children always come first.

This year my family cooked for me a lobster dinner, gave me flowers and a home made birthday cards. I was very happy. I was surrounded by the love of my family for me.

I pray that it goes well for you. Let your heart be your guide.
Love, peace and harmony. God bless

i ought to go adversarial to the shuffle purely because with that is lack of a show screen it is a lot less relaxing, quite for a Mama. For moms day I were given my mama a 4gb Nano and he or she loved that one. it variety of feels to be particularly common, it is an imbetween form and would not lack in some thing that she will be in a position to favor; video, song and photographs. you'll hit upon them on sale at some places for somewhat more cost-effective than others. best of success and chuffed Birthday on your Mama!

Create a coupon... written there are stuffs that you would be doing for your Mom... Give it to her and tell her that she could use it anytime she please... For example:

"Orange juice" - if your Mom hands you that coupon, you'd be making her one.

Such simple ones, see?

Your Mom would be happy that you're trying to help and make her relax, and at the same time - she could see your creative side... well, of course, you'd be decorating the coupons.. right?

Hehe.

Cheap and handy and heart-felt.

Get her one of those flashlight/alarm/keychain things that deter muggers. Or maybe she would prefer the LadySmith model .38 caliber Smith&Wesson revolver.

A medium figurine-sized wax replica of your mother. I'm sure she will not reject her own person in wax.

try this: a tea set [usually a unique tea pot and 2 cups & saucers] and a "unique" scented tea, eg. rose-scented dried tea leaves.

check out the china town!
