haha, of courses ur brain works, otherwise you wouldn't be able to do the basic things required for survival like breath, regulate heartbeat, see, move, etc...

you're probably just having a difficult time focusing, it may be a phase or it may be something a little more serious

see if it occurs more so in some environments than others, if u find that u can 'shut it off' in during importants events or situations, then u know that there's nothing wrong w/ u
But if it is persistant, then u may want to speak to a registered therapist to determine if in fact there is a problem that u should be addressing

Can you take a moment to actually write down all of the things you're thinking about? Then get rid of the things you have no control over..And make a decision to focus only on things where you can affect a change? What you're experiencing is sensory overload, and most everyone is right now, with the state of the world, the violence, the poverty, the war, the (well basically the anything George Bush was involved in) Just figure out what is making your brain spin, and write it off. You have the power to let go of the things you can't change. There's only so much one person can do, use your energy to affect a change in something that you can actually fix!

If you are an artist, enjoy the ride. Catch some new views at new angles. Enlighten yourself.

Otherwise I suppose you go in for a CAT scan or something and they pith or radiate it right out of you. Be a crying shame, though, to give up a Gift like that.

That's called curiosity, and it's too bad we all have it because it'll probably kill all of us some day.
