I haven't changed my soaps or shampoos, even if I take a shower they remain sore and look like I've had my hand in water for a whole day! (all white and wrinkly) they feel like they could crack open.Any ideas???? It even happens with plain water.

Go and check this out.
Might help.
Actually was thinking that your skin lacks keratin, a protein in your skin that makes it waterproof.
Cos if your skin is not waterproof, water and ions in your skin cells are able to move in and out of the cells easily, causing the possible blisters and wrinkles.

I'm not a doctor but it sounds real similar to a condition I once had (dishydrotic eczema). The little blisters felt like I had splinters in them. The doctor put me on prednezon it cleared up my condition but made me nauseous and impotent so that sucked. Later while watching the discovery channel I learned that heavy coffee drinkers can have the same conditions. I'm a big coffee drinker and thought Id give there solution a try and it worked. First I had to detox off of coffee for 2 months and that cleared up my condition. After that I met others with eczema also and found out that a salve called coal tar worked very well. I used the coal tar for one year and its like I'm cured now. Oh by the way I only got off of the coffee for the 2 months as the program suggested now I drink coffee moderately and now problem.

You should go and see your doctor and have him or her set up an appointment with an allergist you may possibly have an allergy to water i know it sounds funny but it is absolutely possible. Also it may not be water that is the problem you may have come into contact with something you touched and then the water contact afterward leads to a reaction, If you use cleaning solutions it can have the same effect. I have had alot of problems with various things in and outside of my home and all within the last 3 yrs. I had no prior allergies and one day all of a sudden I had allergies to things I have eaten and been around all my life that never gave me problems before. Plus if you go to an allergist they can check you for skin diseases. I not only was getting hives but occassionally I was breaking out in large welts due to my body being hot and the allergist diagnosed me with a skin disease the welts go away of course in a couple of hrs and the skin returns to normal
I wish you the best of luck

Get to a doctors office and have your kidney and liver checked! This rash is a common among the HCV infected. It is an allergic reaction of some sort, but could also be a sign of a malfunctioning liver or kidney!

For over 5 years my doctor said i was just "simply allergic to water". BS! Your body is 75% water!

Better safe than sorry....get tested!

go see a doctor
it's not happening because of water, since the average human being has in the ball park of 44 Liters of water in their body at any given time

and okay, the WORST thing you could do for something that's dried out is soak it in alcohol, so seriously, don't do that unless you want them to get even worse--it's not germs by the way

Is it just water or is it exposure to things with water? Like plants?
I think you have a Staph infection, one called cellulitus. There's actually two different kinds you might have. but cellulitus is most pronounced on your hands and feet, it can spread after you start itching ( if they itch) you need antibiotics, Here's a website, it's the first one I came to, as soon as I read you question I just wanted to get back to you quickly! Go to you doc asap , please! Email me let me know what they said!

this is a very weird thing. the best and safest thing to do is to have your water tested. maybe the water`s ph balance could be disturbed orharsh chemicels may be present in the water.
have it tested asap

good luck, your local munisipality will be able to help you....

This can potentially be serious. Any other symptoms? Are you on any antibiotics for a UTI or anything else? I'd see your doc if it keeps occurring or worsens.
