Recently the computer is behaving improperly, floppy disk is searching for floppy, CD Rom drive door is opening and closing on its own for no apparent reason. Sometimes the system wont boot - it will stuck on "verifying DMI pool data" and hang on there.
Any solutions!

try booting into Safe Mode (tap the F8 key while rebooting), if you can get into Safe Mode all is not lost.

If you can download, AVG Anti-virus, install, update and scan for viruses - it's free and might help you out! - you can find it here http://www.vermontpcsolutions.com/tools_anti_virus.html

You can run this in Safe Mode (you will need to be in 'normal mode' to download, update and install) and scan for viruses. This might be the problem!

Good luck!

Please have it checked with some experienced hardware engineer. Check for proper SMPS output voltages (+5,-5,+12,-12)
Clear the CMOS once and set it to default setting.

Please try these.
